National Charity Model Search

Little Ones Rock is participating in the National Charity Model Search to select “America’s Cutest Kid” and to raise funds for charity.

We’re looking for cute children ages 18 months to 14 years old to model for a portrait to be entered into the contest.

Models Search Special:
$95 entrance fee, which includes a 30 minute model session and one image submitted to the national gallery.

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Anyone may vote.

Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from votes benefit the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. (NILMDTS.org)

Grand prize national winner will be determined from the 50 city finalists. Winners selected by photography and modeling industry experts.

If your child is selected the national winner, you’ll receive many prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera.

So after a JAM PACKED June, and then a refreshing vacation I am back! Although vacation wasn't solely a vacation I did do SOME work.. much to the disappointment of my holiday goers! Ahhh what am I saying.. they had a blast with my rash the dress shoot! When do you get the opportunity to get pretty girls in dresses to run around a beautiful (if not cloudy) beach! I believe they also had fun!

Its taking me a while to get through ALL the pics.. but everyone was anxious to see this one I know! LOL

WOW!!! That was all I could say yesterday when I heard that THE DWeddings issue had come out.. so how did it look, a few calls to Shannan and an email or 2 from Travis and I had a good idea! Then last night I went to have a little celebration with them (as much as you can in Pjs and work out clothes! LOL) which was lots of fun, and got to see it in person! and still was completely floored by the nice things that were written, I am very a lucky girl!

June was a LONG month.. lots of weddings and driving.. oh the driving.. and the GAS! UGH.. but when you get to attend parties like this who cares! I have had some of the most BEAUTIFUL weddings EVER this month.. and it made them a pleasure to photograph!

This wedding was no exception.. betta fishes, final countdown blaring, some COOL dresses and awesome views from the top of this location made this a wedding to remember!

One of the best days of my life was the day my son was born! I was lucky enough to have my WONDERFUL assistant (and more importantly sister in law) there to capture all the things I couldn't see) of course my camera came out about the second day.. once I could stand! LOL

Last week Missy was nice enough to let me be a part of Little Miss M's proud entrance to the world. I felt so honored and cant wait to see her next week! :)

First shoot in the new studio - well technically the 3rd.. (I had a maternity and Bridal but I cant show you those) I wasnt sure how the outside area was going to photograph in the evening, but its perfect.. its shaded and while its not THAT cool (but where is right now!) it really is an amazing spot.. I am soooo excited! :)

ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! Oh my.. It took some running (like I cant use that right now!) but we got some great and fun shots.. I think Momma was a bit worn out too.. those boys are hard work to keep up with.. LOL

The last of my weekend shoots was with Jimbob and Sarah! They picked a cute place for their pictures. We had water, grass.. walls! LOL

and LOTS of smiles!!!

This last weekend was a weekend of getting caught up on post baby engagements, bridals.. babies.. :) Can you tell!

Angela and Robert sweated out the Arboretum! It looked great down there with all the rain we had! but MAN was it HOT! Tell me WHY do people to choose to go walk around in that.. we were in and out.. and got some lovey dovey engagements for them! :)

She even made sure I came back a second time to get the shot I wanted.. while it may take us a few months to collect all we need of Emmie! I think we got some great shots of her:)

I met Josh and Ashley for a fun shoot in Las Colinas, while it was hot, we got some great shots.. and they are pretty cute.. so that helped! ;)

Cant wait for the wedding in September, its sure to beautiful and just as fun!

So this is the wedding that we can thank for our newest addition.. how? you say! LOL Well while trying to get pregnant I said "OK August would be the worst month as I have a wedding then" but what do you know after 6 months of trying we fell pregnant, oh and not just due May but ON Nicoles wedding day! Nicole took it all in her stride, and I am hoping she wasnt TOO mad at me! LOL

Gavin stepped in and became me for the wedding, and my sister in law was a saviour at the last minute and did a WONDERFUL job.. Nicole you wont be dissapointed!

I was also feeling up to making the wedding in the end too.. just for a few hours after the wedding :) It was nice to get a haircut and dressed up and put make up on I felt almost normal! :)

So Nicole this is for you.. Thank you for your patience with us and I am very happy with how it all worked out.. heres a taster from when I got there! :)

Hendrix was born via C Section on April 26th 2007 it was amazing and everything went perfectly, I am healing pretty good I think, I have nothing to compare it to..and he is the sweetest thing.. he is really making it easy on us.
